97 Florida game trivia question

Does anybody remember the name of the redhaired fullback from LSU who was on Sport's Illustrated cover? Beck or something?

 

Kevin Faulk was on the cover of Sports Illustrated with the caption "See you Later Gators".

The fullback (who was photographed diving parallel to the ground on his rushing TD) was Tommy Banks, #43.

 

Does anybody remember the name of the red-head fullback that was on the cover of Sports Illustrated? My husband can't remember and it is driving him crazy. He's thinking Beck or something.

I was at the game. Never seen a goal post torn down before. I saw it that night.

 

I still have the ticket, the game program, and grass torn from the field from that night. All in a ziplock bag. One of my friends thought the field grass was dope.
