Sucks that LSU and UL always get put in the same regional for softball (and occasionally baseball)... I'd like to see more than one Louisiana team make it past a regional (or super-regional, for that matter)...
They're all winnable, someone wins every one of 'em. :wink: UL's softball team is legit. Stefni & Michael Lotief run a great program. Their freshman pitcher from John Curtis, Ashley Brignac, had a HS career record was 122-4, including 5 State Championships. She struck out 1,454 of 2,037 batters faced. Last year at the LSU/UT game, one of our player's dad told me LSU passed on her because of her delivery- "She crow-hopped." Well, in 37 outings this year (30 starts), she has: 27 wins; 286 strikeouts; ERA .96. Where ya at Deek...LSU may have missed one??

True but we have one heckuva pitcher coming next year. From South Carolina, I think. There was a thread on her in the recruiting forum. I think she has over 900 K's going into her senior season.
