Meanwhile in Denver Tebow is getting wasted on water and orange juice because a QB that sucks more than him will be in the league next year God answered his prayer with JJ.
If he can add 30 pounds without losing speed and . . . if he is capable of and willing to block NFL defensive ends and linebackers. I ain't seeing it. If he had switched positions two years ago, he might be a prototype NFL tight end by now. But I don't see him pulling it all together enough to get a free agent contract.
WTH Guys and Gals instead of trashing JJ what would be wrong with saying we are proud of him and all other players invited and hope all of them get drafted because it makes LSU look better. :rolleye33: The more players we send to the NFL like them or not only helps LSU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gee, all these people on here who make their livings assessing talent for NFL teams!!! Amazing! Those idiotic amateurs who have day jobs working in plants and stuff that make the decisions on Draft Combine Invitees-- are they crazy? Can't they see that Jefferson has NO quarterback talent? Idiots!! The NFL needs to have these professionals on this blog choose the Invitees.
Well I am proud of all other players who get invited to the combine except for JJ. Sorry man, I just can't say something that's betrayal to my heart. I won't trash JJ and wish him bad, but I just don't think he deserves this opportunity and this much attention while Lee is still so underappreciated for what he has accomplished.
Since the January 9th debacle, and honestly, even longer than that, people on LSU message boards have been writing about Les Miles mistreating JL. Now, I can infer from reading that bolded portion of the post that you feel the NFL is mistreating JL. What if...now, just what IF...JL isn't as good as so many want to think. I'm not saying that JJ is great, either, but I'll bet the NFL is inviting him because they understand he's an overall better ATHLETE than JL. I'm also guessing Miles felt the same way about the two. In fact, I believe Miles even said something with regards to the two QB's at one point, saying he'd love the skill sets that both of the guys brought to the table in ONE QB. To me, that implied that Miles knew that both had glaring weaknesses as QB's (and they both DID.) Miles, and now the NFL, seem to believe that JJ is a better athlete. And LSU fans are (and I abhor this term, but dam if it doesn't fit here) butthurt over the "treatment" of JL. And fwiw, I wish Miles had put JL in the NCG. But jeez, already.
