I guess NFL types still go hard for good "measurables." After all, you can't teach 6'5, strong arm, quick running, etc. You can try to teach defense-reading and the like. I imagine the combine would only help him. Whatever happens, I wish him and all other Tigers the very best. Sucks for Ken Adams, though.
I'm not sure if it means anything but on the list of invites to the combine JJ is in the QB group. Any team that brings him to camp as QB are outta there minds IMO.
Well there is nothing else JJ will offer other than QB at the combine. Nothing in his athleticism tells me he can be anything but a QB. Which means he has no chance at an NFL career.
Islstl I agree with you, I was just saying he would be in that groups but others said he may be looking to move to TE or WR. I think Pat White also worked as QB at combine not sure about others who switched.
He's not far off from TE size right now. I'm not saying it's a sure thing, but TE seems like a realistic option for him.
Maybe just maybe Maybe , just maybe . The Saints want one more look at their future QB . He would be right at home in the Dome don't you think ?
JJ is being brought in to show what not to do. I mean he is a pro at dropping the snap and tossing it to a wide open D player. So he got the invite to help show the real QB's what not to do if you want to make it in the NFL.
