21-14 at the half. Cal is up more than the score indicates (277 to 111 yards). We'll see what happens in the 2nd half. Minnesota finally built themselves a football stadium (they were playing in the Viking's Metrodome), and this is their first season in that new stadium.
Oh well, Cal ended up winning by 2 TDs. But Minn did better than their 2006 game at Cal, which Minn lost 42-17. USC is going up to Minnesota to play the Gophers next season. Then Minnesota goes to USC to play them in 2011.
While not excpetionally large, it looks nice. It's just great to see a school from a traditional conference back in an open-air stadium.
