With our d, I can't see us winning a game after the by week... With the way Mett is playing lately, we should break out more of last year's o and pound with the backs more... that would eat the clock and keep our d off the field... 8-4 but I hope I'm wrong...

Oh this is so enticing, so easy to walk right into this one, however I will refrain.

But I sure as hell don't want to ;)

The guys on D are still fighting for their spot in the line up. Mett, OBJ, Landry, RBs are making their NFL statements. There will be no quit.

There might be a lot of quit. This shit happens all the time when team goals are gone for teams. Les will earn his money if he keeps this team focused.

Les taking the blame for last Saturday was a good first step. Having fun this week would be a good second step, especially given the quality of the next opponent. Then, a solid win over a sacrificial lamb heading into an bye week is perfect. Finally, with Alabama and TAM up next, LSU will discover that there really is a lot to play for.

Why should he? His team goals are also gone for the year. Tirk, what do you think?
