UGA has yet to face a single team with the weapons and balanced attack we have. In all of their games, they were able to make teams one dimensional. This is mostly due to the fact that no one really compares to Burrow, Chase, Jefferson, et al. To add, our style and play calling mostly negates the elite pass rushes we have faced. IN the AU game people like to point to, it was a wet sloppy mess. As many have said, we actually drove up and down the field on them. With the we field in the redzone, we just could not get the separation needed and TBH, our run game was still a work in progress. The best offense UGA has faced was ND ranked #47. LSU has faced 3 Top 35 offenses in Bama #7, Texas #15, and Ole Miss, #31. There D is good, but if you look at common opponents, our D has posted similar numbers. UGA had much better defensive performances vs Vandy and UF than we did, but our D actually did better vs A&M and AU than UGA's did. Meanwhile, we doubled the yardage gained vs UGA. Hard to say if what we saw from our D is what we should have seen all year or an anomaly, but I think it is safe to say we have very good talent to repeat that against UGA. Will we shut them out? No, but I think they can play at an elite level. In fact, I think its a safer bet to expect our D to play better than for UGA to shut our Offense down.
Every game this year I had doubts about just how much LSU could score. Well I do not see any difference this game. If LSU doesn’t fall apart we will score & score a lot.
I hope the LSU team has not forgot how much they wanted the A&M game . We made that Bulldog look like a puppy last year . I hope the Tigers are "Hongry" (hungry) Or'ry, and MEAN .I am afraid that bulldog puppy is "Hongry " for some TIGER TAIL . I would like a repeat of last season's game 36 LSU - 16 Georgia (6) would be better . GEAUX TIGERS !!!
