Man had a legitimate opportunity to help out Louisiana/NOLA after Katrina yet hasn't played once. I know it stems from some Morial charity BS but still....I was reading Golf Magazine (or maybe Digest) yesterday and they had a spotlight on Mickelson...a big bold caption read (as best remembered) "Mickelson vowed to donate his winnings at the Zurich Class to Hurricane Katrina relief....he decided that $83,465 wasn't good enough so he threw in an additional $250,000." In other news, I played TPC Louisiana last Tuesday....that course is a BEAST...shot 137...I lived in the sand....Normally shoot 107-110 @ City Park.
I shot an 87 a few weeks ago at City Park. I blame the good score on having to wait 20 minutes before teeing off the 1st 15 holes, therefore well rested. Never going back on a Saturday.:cuss:
Yeah we've had that problem on Saturdays too. Long line at tee...then bunching on 2 and 4....I refuse to play there weekends. We usually play weekdays anytime from 6-8. Check out City Park New Orleans North Course -- New Orleans, Louisiana -- Managed by Billy Casper Golf and sign up for their "Hot Times" if you don't already. Round and cart for $18. Hard to beat.
Am I the only one that noticed the addition/subtraction error here? If you have 70 wins, all you need is 13 more to surpass 82, not 19.
