Yep, I'm going to be out of town for the Troy game, so I gave my tickets to my neighbor. He moved here from Montana about a week before Gustav hit, so we've been giving him a crash course in living down here. He's doing well so far. He's had gumbo, alligator, etoufee, jambalaya, etc... all the bare necessities. I figure he needs to go to a game and see what it's like on campus since he's never been to a Div. I game, much less LSU. He's in for a treat.

I took my 3 year old to the game. Also took him to Appy State and UGA games.
He is hopelessy hooked on the experience now.

I would probably enjoy it a little more if his attention span lasted at least a few minutes after the pre-game festivities. But all in all, I love watching him bounce around and dance to the music on the PA before the band hits the field. Cheering like crazy when the band get started. A great time. Everyone should get (and take) the opportunity to bring a kid to a ball game.

Amazing how in the eyes of a child ever experience is special. Maybe some of us can learn from their experiences. Children are Gods gift of love and laughter. Cherish the light of joy they shine on you.

I agree. I take my daughter to all the games and if the game is not in doubt for either side she dictates when we leave. If it's a good game she just has to deal with it. Or should I say her mother has to deal with her. :D

    EXCELLENT DECISION.

Ole Miss game 2 years ago, I brought my oldest son (4 years old at the time). LSU was down 6 couple minuted left in game, and was driving.
this is the time he deems it best to have to go take a crap. Since my wife was not with me, I had to watch the game tying drive (and blocked PAT) on the little monitor in the hallway near the bathroom.
