The #1 thing Republicans don't want you to know is that they are not limited government. They love spending, just on different things. They also love to use the government to make sure you're not doing things in your own living room that they don't like (gambling, porn, drugs, etc.).

They like those things, they just don't want to appear as if they do.

I am not going to "reply" to Atreus post because I don't want to waste that much page space but I want to respond to how ridiculous and easily debunked his post is. Go to the Congressional Budget Office's web site and you can see for yourself that President Bush signed the 2009 budget, not President Obama. This isn't anything new. The 2001 budget belonged to Clinton, the 1993 budget belonged to Bush I. The federal budget runs from September to the following September and is signed by the sitting President before it is enacted so there is no way that Obama could be responsible for the 2009 budget. Until 1976 the federal fiscal year ran from july to july of each year. Your entire post is contingent on this one blatant lie and therefore the remainder of it requires no explanation.

What horseshit numbers! Take the intentionally misleading "rule one" for instance. It attempts to make the 2009 budget (Which George W. Bush submitted over a year before Obama took office) look like Obama's budget to the average complete idiot. But just read it!

First of all the Stimulus Act was not a part of the Bush 2009 Budget. It was passed after Obama took office.
Second the failure of Bush to sign the final spending bills in his own budget into law before the end of his term is not Obama's failure. Obama signed them.

as much as budgets correlate to jobs, yes. I honestly don't know how related the two are but nevertheless, good bad or ugly the 2009 budget belonged to Bush.

It is just funny, b/c Obama only claims the good shit, but the rest is on Bush.

I have read on this board for years how Obama brought all these jobs back, but the debt was on Bush, even though Obama has in fact added to the horrible debt we have.

What was that saying, “baked into the cake”?

Do you have any knowledge as to what Obama did in the first 6 months of office that stopped the job losses?

I mean, it peaked under his watch, but none of you Lib’s here will put that on him, it was on Bush, however as soon as we turned and started slowing the job losses, Obama was the savior.

I would really like to know from you how Obama stopped the mudslide in 2 months of office.
