Mine will be “as far as I’m concerned you still haven’t beaten LSU” Trust me. Aggies get really pissed off when you don’t acknowledge their teams accomplishments. Little man syndrome runs deep with that bunch.
First of all, I guess I am ol skool in that a team should never put itself in a position for the game to be decided by inept or unfair officials. Or on the bizarre bounce of a football. Run up the score in the first period, never let up and non of that matters. Having stated that, has roster disparity been addressed in the context of these marathon games? If I am wrong I am certain I will be corrected, but as I understand it, the home team can dress 85 and play 80 whereas there is a visiting team limit of 70. In a marathon game, those 10 fresh players could make a difference. Again, kick ass for 60 minutes none of this or that matter. Geaux Tigers
I was in a room with 50 people. All of us thought Mond's knee was down. All of us thought that the TAMU receiver was still securing the catch before Delpit hit him. All of us thought that 1 second should be put on the clock. And the SEC Network admitted that the yellow line was on the wrong yard marker on TV,. so it was a first down. The one I didn't see was the illegal formation on the clock play, so that's a bad call. As far as the Greedy penalty, it seemed to me like Greedy was grabbing, but it was probably uncatchable. In terms of the unsportsman-like conduct, none of us knows what he said, so I won't speculate on that. It seems like we make a lot of excuses when we lose. The refs "screwed" us at Florida too. What I saw was an offense that actually played pretty well for once, especially in OT and our supposed elite defense was the one that really let us down in OT. DBU wasn't able to cover the TAMU receivers who made a bunch of brilliant contested catches.
