Actually, one of the reasons LSU is as high as 7, is the high ranking of Va. Tech. The Tiger victory over those guys is seen as a very high quality win, one that most of the top 10 doesn't have.

Megga Dittos!! You hit it right on the head. I love LSU; but sometimes it seems we (ie. the fans) are so stupid and arrogant. We didn't take this game seriously and got our butts handed to us at home. How embarassing.

You're right about that, but while watching the game, I was wondering how Arkansas could play like that and not be a ranked team. At 8-4, how would you like to be any of the pretenders, and still have a game to go at Arkansas? Do you think that anybody left would be a mortal lock to beat them?

Well then using the same logic...Arkansas should be ranked much higher than 25 as they beat us and not too many teams are able to say that...right?

 

Bottomline in all of this, we should have taken care of our own business on Friday. We didn't. Game, set, match for the NC.

We can argue all we want about this system stinks (which I agree it does stink) but we don't deserve to be in the title game with 2 losses. We play in the toughest conference in America. We have 6-7 "hard" games every year. The rest of these jokers play 2-3 tough games a year. I get it.

Having said all that, we controlled our own destiny and we blew it. We didn't finish. End of the NC story.

What we are saying (or most of us) is that we don't understand how Georgia and Va Tech could be ranked higher than us. We are not thinking that we should have dropped one spot. Read the posts before you boast.

No, us beating Va Tech is the reason we didn't go to the back of the 2 loss line.

Beating us is the reason Arky isn't at the end of the 4 loss line.

Losing to UL-M is just freaking hillarious.

Well, I'm with you on Va Tech but i can see georgia ahead of us.

 

Let's just hope the Tennessee game doesn't go into overtime....or we may fall further down the food chain...

 

If we handle business against Tenn. could we play against someone other than Hawaii even if they win. For example Missouri losing to Oklahoma would make them the BIG 12 #2 and Oklahoma going to the Fiesta could we play them or either 11-1 Kansas or even someone else just wondering?
