BCS Baloney

Great! Just what I'm hoping for!

Va. Tech, is rated higher than LSU, after playing a full season of rugged, hard-hittin' take-no-prisoners ACC football, (and getting beaten by the Tigers, 1,391,418 to 7)! JOKE #1, and just what the fine folks at the BCS deserve.

Georgia, with 2 losses and not even qualifed to play in the SECCG, stands at #4, with an outside shot at the Nat'l Title Game! Humongous JOKE #2, and even more of what they deserve at the BCS.

Kansas, a bunch of sissy-boys who took part in the following charade, is rated above Va. Tech & LSU.
In a year in which they were the grand prize winners in the Lucky Big 12 Conference Scheduling Sweepstakes, (that's when you avoid Oklahoma, Texas & Texas Tech), the Jayhawk response was to schedule Cen. Michigan, SE Louisiana, Toledo, and America's Most Valuable Cupcake - Fla. Int'l. Kansas has played 1 football game to date, and is #5 in the BCS with a record of 0 - 1. Congrats Jayhawks! Colossal JOKE #3 for the BCS folks!

And finally, I give you THE Ohio State Buckeyes! After pretending they were a 16 year old high school cheerleader in a Friday the 13th. movie, against the Florida (Jason) Gators last year, and being held to less than 90 yards total offense, the Buckeyes responded by getting rid of that pesky Texas game, and by playing the Ohio Trifecta: Youngstown St., Akron, and Kent St.
And now, they wait for Oklahoma to put them into the Nat'l title game, vs. West Virginia, whose schedule would embarrass the schedule makers at Kansas.
That of course, is the ultimate joke on the BCS.

This whole thing smells like week-old roadkill on I-10 in July.

Stanford lost like 62 games this year. Va Tech and LSU both have two losses.

Stanford beat USC on a last second play. LSU beat Va Tech handily.

I'm surprised at this but not shocked. I cant' believe a human voter would put VT ahead of LSU in this particular scenario. Doesn't make sense to me. Of course, I'm not a voter and no one asked me to be.

I love it!!! We just expect to be able to lose to an unranked team at home and everyone to say...ah, they didn't mean it....here, we will only drop you one spot to #2. Now don't let it happen again :nope:

Bottom line, we had it in our control and blew it. Now we have to live with the consequences.

Stanford does not have THE SAME RECORD AS USC, nor do they have MORE WINS AGAINST TOP 25 TEAMS. Now use your foot man, and put it in your mouth. You may want to throw our team under the bus, because of "teams currently not ranked", but the only reason they are "currently not ranked" is because of losing to other teams in this conference that ARE CURRENTLY RANKED.

Now take your "crayons" and go play with some other Preschooler. It takes one to come on here and start being condescending to someone you don't know. I was venting about the system, and not making angry comments directed AT someone like you did to me. Are you on the BCS committee? Or are you just a jerk who thinks they can talk big and bad online because I can't reach out and AT@T you????? GEEZ.

Not all is lost. We beat UT 100-7, VT loses, Mizzou loses and a comet hits Morgantown then bounces over to Columbus. We get in against UGA.

 

Well....First we have to win big in the SECCG, VT will need to lose their game with BC and as you said WVU and Missouri both would have to lose. But that is a vary tall order and we still my not pass UGA. The only way I want to see tOSU in the NCG is if we play them. So Both Missouri and WVU lose or I hope they both win out.
