Well then let me see if I can help you with this "absurd" discussion. This wasn't about asking whether or not the Tigers want to simply toss their games in the trash. It wasn't about an either / or situation. It is about making changes that we all know need to be made and not being fearful of the outcome. I'm saying that if we lose our last two games and it comes at a time when our coaches are doing everything they can to develop and move this team forward then I'm ok with it. I would much rather watch them make changes, open it up and leave it all on the field. If we end up 7-5 after that, ok. What I didn't want to see is doing the same tired junk we've seen all year and ending up 7-5 (which is where this train is headed). Absurd is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Kind of like what happened on the field last night and over the course of this season. This staff keeps throwing the same pitch across the plate over and over again and expecting that no one is going to knock it out of the park. Absurd is sitting there with your round peg and pounding it relentlessly hoping to bend physics to your will. Absurd is watching the other teams in the league pass you by because you refused to adjust. Everything rises to it's level of incompetence. Absurd is knowing this but doing nothing to change your potential and push your ceiling higher. Absurd is what we watched in Fayetteville last night. And expecting it to get any better without making some serious changes is ....
