Numerous times we hear players talk about "playing 60 minutes". The coaches preach it and the team lives it. They showed it against Georgia. They kept at it and never gave up...even in the end.

What pisses me off is midway through the 3rd quarter nearly 1/3 of the stadium got up and left. If these guys can give it their all for 60 minutes there is no reason, we as fans, can't do the same. The hot beer and cold food is waiting for you in another hour as well as the traffic. No reason you can't support this football team no matter what is going on in the game. Bunch of ****ing fair weather fans who jetted early and missed what could have amounted to a great comeback.

I can't argue with that. I agree. Unless there is some crazy weather, whenever i go to a game i am there till the end.

Only game I ever left early was the ass whooping Bama put on us back in 01 or 03 when it was FReezing cold and raining. We left in the 3rd Q that game!

As much as people have to pay for those tickets, I would want to get as much asstime with that seat as possible!

Despite LSU being a 30 minute team this season, I watch all the way through. I've never changed the channel nor have I left early whenever I have gone to a game in the past.

I had to give up my tickets for this game because of work. Unfortunately my brother-in-law called and told me he left in the 3rd quarter.

It was very disheartening. You could not hear the crowd in the 3rd quarter on TV. Some of our fans have unrealistic expectations , I fear.

It is getting hard to brag as much as I always have about Tiger Stadium and the environment for opposing teams. Leaving is not an option. The game announcers are starting to focus on it a lot. Stay and see if you can acutally help. I travel a long way to attend one to two games a season, and you couldn't pry me out of my seat.:thumb:

I think the last game i left early was an Ole Miss Halloween game where 10 hot chocolates and a few bonus drinks could not keep me warm. It was damn cold. So i walked to my office and listened to it there.

First game he has ever left early(I think my sister made him leave for being too drunk actually), and he has had season tickets for 30 years now(not mine). He was a bit embarrassed to leave but it appears many did the same. Crowd seemed totally out of it.

I gave him plenty of $hit about it.
