They shouldn't even release this dude's name, in 10 years his name will be remembered and the officers names won't and something is very wrong with that.

Then I saw where @tirk posted that the shooter had ties to Islam and it made more sense. Most black people in this country have been raise as Christians by a church-going Mama. They may hate cops but they ain't about to go down in a blaze of glory for nobody. It's time to make and exception to the Constitutional precept of freedom of religion for all muslins, whether foreign born or converted radicals.
I don't think this trend of black people killing cops is gonna continue. Mooslems, that's a different story.
That crossed my mind, radical Islamist hell bent on destroying America recruiting black radicals to have them start offing cops to create more racial divide. Their stupid attacks only make us stronger but this shit.....
So dead on accurate. I grew up in New Orleans and 40+ years later, I still vividly remember Mark Essex, but I can't name a single one of the cops he killed.
