Man come on, it's got nothing to do with the President, although I will say he doesn't need to just sit there and bald face lie about this country not being divided when it's clearly more divided than ever. He should be talking about how we are divided and how to unite us, and it starts with respecting law enforcement officers. Will showing respect and complying with law enforcement precent all the killings by cops? No, you will still have things like Minnesota happen to people, but it won't happen as much. Comply, show respect, and live 99% of the time. then file a complaint with the police office or the DA if your rights are violated by police. Anyway, we probably agree on that last part and I think Obama has been a failure, and I'll be glad to have the Obama era over with but these cop shootings arent his fault, there is plenty of blame to spread around.
I figured you were talking strictly about the shootings. I'm talking about the divisiveness in this country that's a little broader than just shootings. But yeah I agree Obama isn't being the leader this country needs right now, and the sad part is neither of the 2 major candidates will be either.
There is a whole lotta fucked up going on right now. Folks I used to respect endearingly, are now dead to me in their belief that this is any kind of solution. Social media has ignited the worst in a lot, highlighting true moral corrupts and signaling out the insane bloody solution that is perceived as necessary. We are just so fucking blood thirsty anymore that rational has fallen to an image absorbed by those who are doomed to mature. There will be no easy way out of this and I wonder, will we learn from this or is the sign of a new time? The world is just so fucking mad anymore and new levels of hate are being born every day.
