Oregon did very well this year: 22-9 overall, 13-5 in the Pac 12 (2nd Place behind Washington, who is also in the NIT). it's one of the best seasons Oregon has had in the last 34 years... they've only had 3 better seasons since 1978: 2000 -- 22-8 (13-5 in Pac Ten, 3rd place) -- NCAA 1st Round 2002 -- 26-9 (14-4 in Pac Ten, 1st place) -- NCAA Elite 8 2007 -- 29-8 (11-7 in Pac Ten, 3rd place) -- NCAA Elite 8 if LSU wins, they will face the winner of Dayton vs. Iowa. then if LSU beats Dayton/Iowa, LSU faces either 1-seed Washington or Akron/Northwestern/Texas-Arlington.
