just the 12 game regular season. thats the lowest total I can remember for us. we're usually 9' or 10ish. not even 8' is worrisome.
Not just a position, the most important position on the field. Let tap and that other Shelia tell it and we have an all pro back there
I hope we don't play N. Carolina in a bowl either because it means we're probably under the 8 game win total and playing in another shitty bowl.
So you don't think LSU and North Carolina will both be 14-0 and playing for the National Championship?
Take a look at Miss. State for a minute. They're at 7. Their four OOC games aren't that difficult of a stretch. Their two east opponents, UK and Mizzou, *may* account for a win. As I see it they are looking at MSU being 4-0 in OOC play and winning anywhere from three to five games in the SECW IF they were to hit the O. I think that's just another case in point of the possibility any team in the West could lose three or four conference games. Eight is a lower number than recent lines. But, I don't think it's all due to people looking at the QB situation. Hell, UGA at nine is actively seeking to bring in a grad transfer from VA to bolster their QB situation. In fact, across the entire conference, there aren't that many teams who can look at the QB position and say it's secure. There's Allen in UArk, but Prescott in Starkville is the only QB that you can point to in the division and say "job is his."
It's obvious when just about every prognosticator says the same thing. Some just can't remove those P&G goggles long enough to see reality. I hope he proves us wrong this year and either or light it up, but that's not what history tells us will happen.
