I saw this on Real Sports on HBO, and while I don't actually golf myself, I was really taken with this story. Not only can the kid drive the ball 170 yards, but he does it with one eye. He lost an eye to cancer at age 3 I think, and just switched to swinging left so he could see the ball with his good eye. Best score is a 41. Pretty inspiring story if you get a chance to catch it. http://www.tampabays10.com/news/national/article.aspx?storyid=59594
Sadly, I have been having trouble breaking 41 on seven holes, let alone nine. Very good story. I saw that on Real Sports the other day as well.
That is a very good story ...thanks for sharing. It's amazing how thing are taken for granted and we aren't thankful for them. But what's even more amazing is when someone like a child can adapt and overcome! I've been playing golf for nearly 8 years and I tell ya, if he shoots a 41 on 9 holes ...he'd beat me any day! thanks again!
