I didn't think so Agree to disagree but it really is that simple Beings I'm in Oklahoma there is a good chance this is actually true. As for people getting things wrong, yeah it happens, just not this time. I don't fear a trial for him. I just don't agree that he even needs one, in my eyes he is no longer an American citizen. So what? What else could it be? Can you provide me with 1, just 1 plausible scenario? Just 1 okay okay I get it, you want him back, and I'm okay with that as well. I'm just not okay with what we paid for him. Had we traded them a nice pork chop sandwich then I'd be just fine. covered already I'm okay with that. I have some distributors down in that area that I will be getting to in the coming weeks so it won't be long.
Sport there is a difference between a legally proscribed punishment and what Bergdahl experienced. You're smart enough to understand the difference apply yourself!
I don't see it that way. The initial reports were all hearts and flowers and heroes and Rose Gardens. I watched the reports the first 48 hours and there was very little mention of the desertion. And like I mentioned earlier, almost every news outlet was using the "Bowe cried in the helicopter" angle and covering his family's reaction. The media didn't turn until public reaction did. I cry foul. Damnit.
And the latest....an administration official, from HUD of all places, has suggested that there is something wrong with Bergdahl's platoon members who have been saying they believe he deserted. "Here's the thing about Bergdahl and the Jump-to-Conclusions mats: What if his platoon was long on psychopaths and short on leadership? (1/5) — Brandon Friedman (@BFriedmanDC) June 05, 2014" Yea....nice move...call those who served honorably psychopaths. Why so desperate to discredit them?
But you don't know that. Just think of how many people get exonerated by DNA evidence when et-witnesses fingered them for the crime. But in the eyes of the law he is until proven otherwise. And to the Army he is still a soldier and subject to military discipline. Now you want me to start making stuff up. That is exactly why I want to see this guy tried properly. Half of what we have heard is speculation, not facts. Let the army prosecutors sort it out. But trades don't work that way. I'm not happy with what we paid for him either, but in the context of how many of the fuckers we have already released and the knowledge that we may eventually be releasing more of them, it's not as big a deal as some of the hysteria makes it out to be. A lot of it is just more anti-Obama politics. And it would have to be a lamb-chop sandwich.
That's why I think the White House advisors (with few former military, being so young) misread the reaction from the Shanes out there. They knew there was going to be controversy and thought that bringing out the parents would put a humanizing touch on it. One insider said as much on one of the talk shows. It ended up looking like a hero's welcome, which was not appropriate. Obama should have made it clear that this man has a lot to answer for to his military command, but we don't leave American soldiers behind.
All I know is that for me, living with those fucks for 5 years would be torture. Wearing dresses and having to smell those camel fuckers, no thanks, I think I may have asked for decapitation after a few days.
I saw that, too. But he apologized, so there's nothing to see here. That's just your anti-Obama politics talking. Fucking amateur and childish. Everything I've now come to expect from this administration. Gotta wonder how many others think the same way. Shameful.
Your argument would be valid if he were captured. This wasn't the case. He went to them. Not at all the same.
