It's heart breaking. I can't imagine having been through it, then have the government put out a story that was a total lie. The guilt must have been, and still is, unimaginable. Talk about PTSD.

 

They were never going to kill him. They trotted him out every 18 months or so with that threat. His killing would have accomplished nothing. They do that shit to create fear but that's not what they wanted out of this.
