Our fullbacks and tight ends will have to match up on their linebackers. It's going to be a trench battle. If we can rush for 100+ on them we will likely win. If our defense can play man coverage and allow Taylor to play the run we can shut down the bama rushing attack enough to win. If you can out physical bama up front you will take away their identity. If we jump up 14 on them and force them to throw the ball that's their asz. Taylor must not allow #3 to break those long gains. He must come up to help stop that screen pass. Taylor is the defensive key player IMO.
I agree with what you said Issy ... but I'll add one more ... ** LSU will get up early, and Bama will not be able to close the gap. I'm thnking LSU will have 20-21 of it's [24-31] points in this game by half time. Bama has been late to start this year, especially in the last two games. I think we go into the locker room at half with a 20-10 lead. Bama is gong to come out playing better in the second half, but it won't be enough to retake the lead, as LSU will score points in the second half as well. I think all this "Bama has the best ______" has gone to their heads. How else do you justify Bama going in tied with TN 6-6!! It is a complete breakdown in discipline ..the thing Saban is so famous for. They could pull it off against Ol Piss and TN .. but that 2nd half rally stuff is not going to cut it against this LSU team. We are deep, and LSU itself is a stout second half team.
No so fast my friend! No way Bama comes out slow or flat in this game and I hope I am wrong. No way we have that many points by halftime. You are even more optimistic than I am! I fully expect this game to be very competitive and low scoring at least in the first half. I can see us pulling away for the Second half because we play 60 minutes of football. It will be interesting to see if Alabama does the same.
well never in the history of football have we ever called a nickel back a lockdown corner if that were the case he would be starting Caddy never said that, btw And not sure where all the talk that Mathieu has coverage issues is coming from anyway. He's more than able and has been solid all year long. And yes I want him to take those chances. Live and die by the sword tonight. Leave it all out on the table. Do what you do.
