    Uh, Muschamp is in Dallas.

Seriously, if we blitz I think it's because we're behind. If we do blitz, they better pressure Tebow every time.

Blitzing the hell out of Tebow was Michigan's strategy in the Capital One Bowl and it worked to perfection. They were committed to blitz Tebow all game long and made him uncomfortable.

For some reason, I just don't expect CUM to have his team ready to face an all out blitzing scheme all game.

I agree. Like I said in my post - what I'm concerned with is keeping the blitzing unpredictable. And, in my opinion, that will rely on strong DE play. If the ends are bringing heat, we won't have to blitz every down. So, when we do blitz, we'll get his azz.

if we blitz I hope CLM worked on covering those screen passes because those are what, seemed, to kill us in the Miss St. game.

I think our blitzing with be of the disguised kind, not the one where we send a safety and linebacker in at the same time and have them close to the line of scrimmage. I would think we'll do corner blitzing instead. The only problem with that is the DB may just fall right off of Tebow and he will escape. Bring in an obvious blitz and they will audible to one of them dangerous short crossing routes that can go for 6 quite easily.

Will be the stiffest challenge of the year for our coordinators.

I hope we blitz the hell out of Tebow tonight. I think that's why last year's game was as close as it was. Pelini had a gameplan where he looked like he was afraid to go after Tebow, but when we actually started going after him last year (late in the game), he started making mistakes.

He's going to complete some passes, but it'll be easier to swallow if we actually are getting after him. Last year, we gave him way too much of a cushion, and he took maximum advantage of that.

I normally call for a very aggressive gameplan on defense, but our blitzing has just not been effective. If Tebow is in a 3 step drop and throw routine, blitzing will be nullified and will kill us. That's why I think it has to be a disguised blitz. I think our front 4 will give us "enough" pressure to balance out the fact we will have 7 in coverage. I like our chances. Keep the plays in front of us and we win.

i think we'll play mostly zone just like les said earlier in the week. UF is not running tebow near as much and we can drop a linebacker back in coverage forcing him to make a good read.

at least until they prove otherwise.
