Ricks says he is not coming alone from the West Coast. There's several big names out there, but no one I have heard specifics about with LSU -- just general great players everyone from SC to Bama is after. This is dishonest. We had 5 field goals against Georgia. We had 5 takeaways from them. The defense dominated the Georgia offense, and our offensive line controlled the game. We did not destroy Georgia's defense. They held us time and again to field goals. Your desperation to make LSU's offense seem more prolific than it was in all actuality mitigates any credibility you ever had by watching tape or playing the game or whatever your various claims are. Just the way Tap hates all things O, your insistence that the offense was acceptable regardless of merit defies credibility. It's a shame since you both could add a lot to discussions otherwise.
A couple more on the left coast they're trying to flip. Rumors of tee Martin coming on staff would help tie up loose ends out there with ucla and USC sucking. I don't want him as a coach but our Wrs couldn't be too much worse as it is.
I don't think Jerry Sullivan will be back. Do you think Oeaux brings in a WR coach to replace Mickey Joseph?
Joseph is here to recruit new Orleans and he got Emery and Chase but could move him to TE coach? Sullivan should be gone. Then Tee could coach WRs.
Brian is mostly correct although Marinovich went to Capo Valley, not Mater Dei. Leinart, Barkley, Wittek, our current JT Daniels, and their current Bryce Young. Those are just the QB's. LB'er Matt Grootegood was from MD. We do fairly well with a lot of the Catholic schools...Santa Margarita which is where Carson Palmer went as well as St John Bosco. Best pipeline IMO though is Long Beach Poly. S Darnell Bing, RB Willie Brown, S Mark Carrier, DT Jurrell Casey, RB Hershel Dennis, RB Morley Drury, OT Winston Justice, WR Kareem Kelly, DE Willie McGinest, OT Anthony Muñoz, LB Mike Pollard, CB Darrell Rideaux, WR JuJu Smith-Schuster.
