Wow...I wonder if Oakland is going to try to make them take the Raiders with them? :hihi:

I think it is going to happen. On ESPN radio they think it will be done. Hotels, homes, malls, park, amusement park all inside? Not bad. I think they said it will only hold thirty thousand something seats.

You have to imagine the Niners will get their act together. From ~1980-2000 they must have been the best team in the sport.

Yah, with no salary cap and Fast Eddie with Policy running things, I'm surprised they didn't win EVERY SB in the 80's & 90's...

Until JJ bought the 'Boys, then Eddie had another guy willing to spend it up in the league too...

And Niner fan thought that the SB was their birthright.

Most current Niner fans couldn't name a 49er QB before Montana. :dis:

Now then have their own version of Benson. :hihi:

When I moved here in '79, the Niners hadn't won anything yet.

I actually rooted for them because I felt sorry for them.

I used to get free tickets to a half-full 'Stick from my boss.

WAS AT THE GAME the Saints were ahead 35-7 at the half, and the 9ers won 38-35 in OT.

The Giants are still 0 for SF. :thumb:

A popular bumper sticker in the late '70's here was:

"GO GIANTS. TAKE THE NINERS WITH YOU" :hihi: :hihi:

I remember the Montana, Young years... I was playing nintendo when the 49'ers were unbeatable. Hail Merry to Rice or Taylor and it was unstoppable. I started watching football alot in the early 80's till present... I was born in the early 70's... :)

And to think that I still have to thank Fast Eddie DeBartolo for FINALLY putting Eddie Edwards in the big house. :thumb:
