Sean Payton is always a step ahead. Best time manager I've ever seen. Most nfl coaches are lost like a few others I know. Finally, someone who gets it. It's not that difficult. Kaepernick pretty much sucks. They'd be better with Alex smith at this point. He's in over his head.
Moved out here to the Bay in '79, when SF was absolute shit. Was at the game in 1980 when Montana came in and whipped us in the biggest comeback win (at that time). Have LOVED every victory over the Bandwagoniners, it's like a double win for me.
The penalty against Brooks should have been correctly called as roughing the passer, NOT a hit to the head. Every dipshit sports dude out here is whining about it, even ESPN.
Who knew friscans even cared. I hate the new rules but I think it was the correct call. As aikman said prior, everytime a qb goes down, I anxiously await a flag. Much less on the hit Bree's took. Actually it was a good football hit. The new rules blow.
Saints D has been hosed on that call many times over the last couple of years. About time one went our way.
387 yards to 196. Total domination. Hopefully Greer isn't out for the year. Sproles looks ok, was playing in the 4th quarter.
You could not be more right. I was saying the same thing. Even still, I think it's the right call too, BY RULE. You can't hit a QB high or it gets called every time. Drew was bleeding, for fukssakes.
And averaged 4.o a carry against one of the best run stopping Ds in the league, which is basically what I thought we needed to be balance out the offense and give us the best chance to win. Great sign to run the ball like that on an elite D. Let's hope that trend continues.
