Dude always has been overrated, too.

    See also: Panthers/Cardinals.

Dude had the game of his life in the Super Bowl against New England and would have been a SB champion if not for 2 horrible coaching mistakes (going for 2 points way too early in the game and not making it as well as calling timeout at the Patriot 15 yard line with 1:45 seconds to go when you should have let the clock go down another 30 seconds).

    Overrated. Uh, no.

Romo, yes. That dude is trash when it comes to the playoffs and anything after November 30th.

Glad for Jake. He deserves it. He has been the heart and soul of this team for many years.

    Sorry if I don't give someone 5 years and 42.5 M on one-game.

Fact is he's old, injury prone and just frankly not all that good.

Minus this one Superbowl game more than a half-decade ago.

By your logic, Larry Brown is the best cornerback of all-time.

    15 TD
    12 INT

not = nearly $10M a year. I don't are if he's a "class act" or not, being Izzy seems to be good friends with the guy and everything.

Even if you happen to be right, as I stated, he's still a class act.

Oh yeah, I think he's a good guy.

I just think when he is 39 (when the deal ends), the Panthers might regret this one.

Or it could just be one of those things where they plan to cut him 2-3 years into the deal.

    I agree clair.

Not to mention one of the biggest crybabies in the league.

    Panthers obviously haven't a clue.
