I read that article earlier today. I wouldn't have argued if Jasper was on there. He only missed like 3 last year and kicked several over 40. I'll look up the stats later, but I know he pooched a few inside the 20, also. He's definately someone you shouldn't underestimate when it comes to LSU's special teams.
I remember when our kickers used to suck really bad, but we have been blessed with some great ones of late.
Indeed we have. Hell, I'd have thought Jasper would have made it solely on the FG he made at the spring game facing the wind.. lol
We need that into the wind ability, in case we attempt another into the wind 63 yd. field goal against Arkansas again.
There are some players who could make it at the end of the season. Toliver or Randle could possibly make 2nd team Offense. Sam Montgomery could find his way on if he starts. Shep could make it as a utility player, WR, or Return Specialist depending on how he is used. Then there is the obvious choice Josh Jasper.
I like Randle and think he will have a great year. TT is good, but inconsistent at times. Hope for the best though. I just hope one of our RB's shine this year and get people talking...
I hope one of them shines so our offense will be productive. What I really want is one or two of our OL to make the POSTSEASON all SEC team! :thumb:
