It was a joke. im very unimpressed with my team. Id want both our teams to have veteran teams so there is no excuses on either side. Meaning yes. I think LSU would take USC if a game was held today. Then again they are going to be hungry next week. So next week...or next year. lol
LSU won't play in the Holiday Bowl. There is no way LSU will play USC in a bowl game this year. LSU is gonna win their remaining games and play in Pasadena for the BCS Championship.
Id like to see Oregon vs. LSU. Our teams struggled against washington. Oregon blew washington out at washington.

Ya think? LSU beat Washington, which USC couldn't even do. 47-20 Total yards: 613--Ducks 327--Trojans Average gain per play 7.7--Ducks 4.9 --Trojans What in the hell happened to USC?
They played a good team that beat them down silly. Here is what is being said and its the truth: What did happen? On a talent-laden team like this one, the only explanation is a lack of preparation combining with a lack of will. .... For now, that defense is gone, that identity is gone, and beyond Carroll's usual exhortations, nobody seems to know what happens next. The question asked of costumed children on doorsteps throughout the country Saturday night can be asked today of the Trojans. And who are you supposed to be? http://www.latimes.com/sports/college/usc/la-sp-plaschke1-2009nov01,0,2873447.column
Now that the dust has settled, Pete, at least according to what I have read, is putting the blame on his team and not on himself. Most coaches would put themselves under the bus at least a little and shoulder some of the responsibility. The media would be slicing up most coaches for not having their team ready to play. Pete says don't need to change anything, just need to execute better, senior leaders need to take charge but it doesn't sound like he believes that HE and his staff need to do anything differently: "We're not going to change our philosophy," Carroll said. "We've got to nail down some technique stuff. We have to get our fundamental play down. Like being in the spots you are supposed to be. We've got to get our front seven shaped up." USC coach Carroll still 'sick' after reliving Trojans loss to Oregon on film - The Daily Breeze "We have to get our front seven shored up first," Carroll said. "The older players now have to be the ones carrying the message . . . [about] how you refocus and go to what's at hand. "If you dwell on what already transpired, you're not moving forward. You're stuck." USC has bigger concerns than BCS standings -- latimes.com Hey Pete we fully realize that with your ego you don't want to dwell on the beat down that was put on your team but dwelling on what happened may help you figure out where you went wrong! I'm sure you know the saying that people who don't know history are doomed to re"pete" it! Maybe you should spend less time making commercials for ESPN and more time preparing your team to play football. NOTE: What does "nail down some technique stuff" mean? Stuff? Really?
Its official, USC is a fraud: EUGENE, Ore. -- For the first two months of the season, not one of the perennial college football powers has played well week after week. Each has won games with willpower instead of dominance, by knowing how to make a play late in the fourth quarter. None of them, however, had been exposed as a fraud until Saturday night. Meet the USC Trojans, phony as an ID in a 20-year-old's wallet. No. 5 USC's identity as a top team began to look suspect in the fourth quarter at Notre Dame two weeks ago. The Trojans raised more doubts in the way they outlasted Oregon State last week. Well, there are no doubts anymore. Not after what No. 10 Oregon did to USC at Autzen Stadium on Halloween in front of a record crowd of 59,592 and a national television audience. Oregon won 47-20. That's right. No need to reboot. Oregon 47, USC 20. Oregon humbles USC, stays unbeaten in Pac-10 play - ESPN Don't dwell on this article Pete.
