@ginojoubertDVIGino Joubert Patrick Miller former LSU commit switches to Auburn Its on scout that he switched and some are saying it was a numbers deal and he wanted to enroll early
Bad week for Miles. This stings. Wonder who the 7 early enrollees are? If he only has 5 scholarships somebody else may switch. Patrick Miller, formerly committed to LSU, enrolls at Auburn - MaxPreps News
Patrick Miller - A Tiger, but not LSU LSU seems to have lost another recruit ... LSU Recruit Patrick Miller Enrolls At Auburn Weeks Before Signing Day - SBNation.com So now that we have lost at least two recruits to other schools and players are opting for the draft (R Sheppard) who really shouldn't be ... It begs the question. Is something rotten in Red Stick? Why the apparent jump off the ship? Normal losses or something more?
Here we go. Get the facts and stop making this look like mutiny. Miller wanted to enroll early, we couldn't fit him in early. That's why, and only why he chose Auburn. It was a numbers game, and we couldn't fit him in. That's it.
I would say that Claiborne and Brockers leaving is an indication of how successful our football program has been over the past several years and, further, will be a key recruiting tool for our coaches moving forward. I really do not think Shep will leave but if he does it's no big deal, we have plenty of depth at WR with more coming in. The Patrick Miller thing is a non-issue. It's a numbers thing and these kind of recruiting casualties happen every year. More so, we are STACKED on the offensive line for a long time to come. I've spent the past few hours reviewing our roster for next year and even with losing Claiborne, Brockers, Randle, Shepherd and, of course our Seniors, we are still LOADED. The dust will settle.
