Anyone know a site that has this. Its the only thing I am missing and I have looked all over the web.
Here is a link to a bunch of songs from LSUSports.net, the third down cheer is actually "Chinese Bandits": http://www.lsusports.net/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=5200&KEY=&ATCLID=177310
Chinese Bandits is what we play when we stop a 3rd down. I am looking for the one that plays when the offense is looking at 3rd down. Its that gay one. The one with the fist pumping and eye of the tiger
The 3rd Down Cheer is "Eye of the Tiger". "Chinese Bandits" is the song played for a defensive stop. Edit: Crip and I must have been typing at the same time.
The band moved right next to us. I'll bring my mp3 player and record it for you Saturday. If we ever see a third down. edit: Nvmd, I didn't see drc40's post.
When LSU is on offense, every 3rd down the band plays a short version of "Eye of the Tiger" and the movement for the cheer involves this fist-pumping thing. It really is a somewhat awkward one. On defense, whenever the opposing team's offense gives up the ball (punt, interception, missed field goal, fumble recovery, etc.), the band plays "Chinese Bandits". For this one everyone bows repeatedly and then it ends with an "LSU" on the last three notes.
Okay, I was thinking third down in terms of defense, now I know exactly the tune. We parody the "Glen ... Glen, Glen, Glen" commercial when this is played.
