It happened some before, not every single time he was on the play. And this team knew it and just kept running at him over and over. It was like the "Let's show the world Welter Sucks Show"
After high school my dad told me that I did not start senior year because the Chairman of the School Board's son displaced me. I remember very clearly, saying, Not really, daddy, I really did not give a shit and Justice did."
State's MLB was 250 lbs and could not run out of sight in a month, but none of our illustrious running backs ran by him. Speed at LB is a great asset, but you have to be be able to clog up the middle and force them to try and run around you. Otherwise they just run up the middle all night if you can not stop it.
Our MLB is weak, slow, shows no football instincts, has lack of hustle on plays away from him, is lost once the play starts. There is not a single valuable attribute with this kid.
Coaches make poor decisions just like players out on that field. Not sure why some fans always go to the mantra "well if it's good enough for Coach X, it's good enough for me". That's always been an extremely absurd stance to take. That's the mentality of a lemming.
