Oh God no. Whatever is going on behind the scenes with Les Miles regarding #31, this game was no different than the other 15 starts he has made in his career.
This was worse. I know you have hated him forever, and I saw he was unathletic. But seeing him FALL off of Prescott and Robinson all night? YOU ARE A MIDDLE FUCKING LINEBACKER ... if you can't tackle a QB or RB that is running straight toward you? You don't belong in the SEC.
It was actually embarrasing to watch how many times he was out of position, got blocked out of position, or flat out run over by #15 and #21. If my armchair defensive coordinator ass can see it, why can't the people getting paid to notice figure it out. And they have the benefit of film!
See I bought into the whole he's there to make sure we're lined up right and because he can get us in the best position on defense ... he showed tonight that is not the case. He's out there and we give the entire middle to a QB we KNOW is going to sneak right up the middle. I think I could have tackled their QB/RB better than him tonight. Just throw my fat ass at them.
Please tell me you're not just noticing this now? You don't remember that small running back from Wisconsin that dragged him for 3 additional yards? It's happened on several other instances last year as well.
