3 teams I have come to dislike/respect and why... CHOOSE YOURS

I don't know whether LSU has any kind of following on a national level, except for people from LA who have moved away. I hope so, but, I don't think so.

On a national level, in the past, people mistook Coach Les Miles as a dumbass idiot. That's changing.

My impression of fans of other SEC teams is that they don't like LSU. They don't like our fans, and they sure don't like our winning.

I love LSU and all of our student athletes, and I respect the US military service academy football teams. I have no respect for any other college football team. What have they done to deserve my respect? They go to school free. Many of them have received illegal payments and automobiles from boosters. Almost all of them are using their NCAA football careers as a springboard to get to the NFL. What's to respect?

I'll protect my own, however. I will be partial and biased towards LSU football players. I don't care whether anybody from another SEC team likes that or not.

I like and respect my fellow LSU fans, but, I don't like and I don't respect fans of other schools, simply because they are a fan of some stupid college's football team. Now, once I get to know them as people, sure, then I might like them and respect them.

texass- most arrogant sons o bitches you will ever find. ate up with entitlement, rich, liberal, sh!tty band uniforms they epitomize everything that is wrong with America and I hope some sort of football plague befalls their craphole of a university, oh wait, it already has. I still hate em.

Also on that list. The red menace, not as rich, just as arrogant, not as smart as uterus, claim to 175 national championships. GTFOH Dumb-asses.

USC- Just as rich, 10x as snobby, hot cheerleaders but prim a donna football players too pretentious to even realize it. O.J. enough said.

Boise St- Can't say much about their fans because why the hell would anyone ever go to Idaho. Oh wait I did, when I was in the Army to put out their damn forest fire. That crap sucked ass. It was the humanitarian thing to do and well, I didn't have much of a choice. That doesn't give them the right to think they belong in every BCS conversation because they beat OU and a bunch of nobody else. These clowns will quickly slip off the radar after this year and we should not hear from them again for a while.

I gotta go with this on the Oregon thing, and I'll add USC to it - OF COURSE. I do agree that in the immediate aftermath of the loss, every Oregon fan I heard acknowledged that they had been absolutely beat. A few days later, however, they started to change their tune. But through it all, they continued to acknowledge that they lost to us. So, on balance, I give them their props. And GDF is a good guy, even though we have had our disagreements. I work out here on the left coast between Seattle, San Diego and everywhere in between. By and large, I have little use for these people, and they have little use for me. I guess that is right, all things considered. :hihi:

For my third team, I continue to dislike the Barn, but these Gumps are giving them a run for their money right now.

Good stuff here. This is what I like to see rather than a pissing test with gump fans, which leads off my #1.

Hate:
Alabama: I never liked them growing up. Their fans think the game of football was created in bama. They talk sh!t about 14 championships when the majority of their fans aren't even old enough to remember them. Then when Saban came back to coach there, my hatred for them grew 10 times more. Now, Saban is Saban, but the fans have become much more intolerable b/c they think they have the greatest coach since the Bear. I wasn't so sure of this last year although I have always took up for Miles, but I can honestly say I would never choose Saban over Miles.

Arkansas
This is a much more recent hate as they have not been relevant most of my life up until recently. They seem to be the thorn in LSU's side since the end of Nutt's days. There fans are pretty bad, they have a very low fball IQ. The fact that Petrino is there now makes me hate them that much more.

USC/Ohio St.
Cant stand Kiffin. He has 0 integrity, & he's a punk. The media man love for USC during Pete Carroll era was ridiculous. They owned the Pac10, so everybody assumed they would annihilate anybody in the country, but they never had to play an SEC to for a championship. I thought it was a travesty that Auburn did not get in in 2000 (I believe that was the year) after going 12-0, although I don't like Auburn at all & Tubberville was pretty horrible himself. And fellas, once they are eligible again for post season play (not sure when), the media man love will continue, already started in fact.
Ohio St. They aren't really relevant at the moment, but it seems like they are playing for the NCG or at least a BCS game every freaking year since the BCS has started. The had the good fortune of playing the cupcake Big 10 schedule & never had to play a conference championship game! I never understood that, but I loved it when LSU whipped their a$$ in the BCSNCG. I'm glad that 1. The Big 10(12) is a lot more competitive now & there is now a a conference championship game.

I've always liked coach Richt, & I respect the hell out of him for turning that ship around this year after going 0-2 to start the season. I think they are going to be back in the SECCG next year.

Western Kentucky's fans were great. I hung out with a few guys with t shirts that said, "The Streak Continues. We never lose a party." Great attitude hard drinking dudes.

 

I would have to say that W. KY. was an awesome game. They played us real tough for
2 and a half Quarters. I threw my hat down a few times! The HC Willie Taggart looked like
a real cool dude. Watching him come into Tiger Stadium with eyes wide open and even tasting a little grass- he looked like a kid in a candy store. They played us better than Ole Miss did. I think that Coach will go far.

Hating: #1 WVU -these people are from another freakin' planet.

#3 Ark... these are very little creatures from the Ozarks. Interesting Breed.

 

I don't really hate any other teams anymore. I recognize that, in the SEC, the fan bases are identical....we're all homers because we love our states and are downright patriotic about them.

We're united, because we're all from the South....a region of the country that shares a culture. That's why we fight so hard among ourselves and root hard for our brothers when any of us play out of conference teams.

honestly, when I was younger, I used to "hate" Alabama because no matter how good we were we could never beat them in the Bear Bryant era...

....but, my family and I were Katrina refugees in Birmingham and I never had seen such empathy and caring that that entire community showed us. I was blown away and I wasn't the only one. I now have a bunch of true friends there whom I can't thank enough.

That's why I have the Bama logo next to my screen name. It's a reminder of the genuine respect and love I have for the state of Alabama !!




But right now....they're TIGERBAIT !!....as it should be !!!
