I would like to see what this offense is capable of with Miles giving up the keys. Maybe we have an OC and we just don't know it.
If LSU really wanted to open up its run game, it should play the entire first quarter as if Mett is Geno Smith. Throw throw throw. Play action every play, because they are all expecting the run run run. Then and only then would D's start to losen up to play the pass, which would bust open the run game. But it's just a law of physics .... 6 guys blocking against 11 ... all stacked in the box, is just not going to succeed very well. Last year it worked for the first 8 games, because, like it or not, Lee was a reliable pass threat ... but then, Lee had Ruebin Randal .... Mett doesn't have anyone even close to RR's talent.
