Had LSU lost to Bama the way they lost today, Les Miles would have had his house burned to the ground by someone.
what was the deal with them? they did this more than once this year run the score up in the 1st and go flat the second half
Saban is not a perfect coach but his imperfections do make Miles' imperfections easier to swallow. Miles has also been helping his own cause by winning some big games this year (though the fashion he was won some games hasn't really helped his cause). All in all, there is reason to feel pretty good about Miles this year, we've actually taken a step forward. A few more steps forward and Miles will be the greatest coach in the history of LSU. A few steps back and he could be known as a guy who won a lot of games at LSU.
Also the third loss for $aban after leading at the half with the Tide. He's now 37-3 after a halftime lead @ Bama. The other two times? Against us in '07 and this year.
