Hmmm, interesting because that's exactly what he's said. He has changed the tone and not used that exact phrase in a long time because he knows people can discredit a tarif on goods but he has said it before and it is clearly his plan.

He hasn't released a tax plan to my knowledge so people try to draw conclusions from examples he gives.

Again. You guys like to call everyone idiots yet assume so much.

And here's a good article on the issue

    http://thefederalist.com/2016/01/20...d-trump-says-about-trade-with-china-is-wrong/

I don't assume anything. That's the difference between me and trump supporters. I present facts and take reasoned positions based off of those facts, not based off of what some blowhard guarantees me. When a guy has to say "trust me" every 30 seconds, it's a good indication that people in his past dealings don't trust him.

I'm not talking about his tax plan, but he has released a tax plan. Here it is from his website. https://www.donaldjtrump.com/positions/tax-reform

Why is this pertinent to the tarrif issue?

Only if your goal is insane profits for large corporations and strengthening the Chinese economy. There is no way that shipping Jobs to China and Mexico helps the American middle class and poor. The American market is by far the most desirable market to do business in. We should be able to comand tremendously better trade deals that benefit the American people and not just the chosen few. Workers in the US will never be competitive with a 10 year old kid in Indonesia where there are no labor laws and zero environmental protection. So being competitive in production costs is a joke. Bad trade deals have third world countries controlling our market in the name of big profits for those that own the politicians.

Because people are making claims these tariffs are just an added tax to the amarican business and consumer. It's just not true.

Look, these debates they have like 45 to 60 seconds to give detail. Like LOL.
