In their defense, the LSU offense is still an unknown, and we folded last year after losing to Bama. I'm not worried about polls; if we win on the field we'll be fine.
I gotta disagree since I think there are three tiers of bowls 1. Playoff/Premier 2. Big bowls like the Cotton that have prime time TV. 3. Every other crappy bowl out there. I would much rather us play in a visible bowl like the Cotton.
Yea I thought this was a mistake but it seems we continue to get the media love. utter bull shit. Who cares I guess we just have to handle what we can handle. Beat the pigs, gaytors, and faggies and let everything else work itself out.
LSU beats those 3 teams like they should and we are probably top 12 going into a bowl game. At this point our mission is to beat these teams and definitely keep Florida out of Atlanta. Tennessee has to do its part.
I didn't feel LSU should have been kicked down that far. A few places after the loss to Bama, sure. LSU is the only team so far to hold Bama to 1 TD and 1 FG. The rest of the their games were 30 or more. We got beat by that running QB and a tired defense who'd been fighting hard all night; and an offense that couldn't score. I think LSU deserves a bit more respect than some people (even fans) are giving them. Yes, Offense sucked and needs a lot of work. Ultimately, the team kept Bama from wasting them by 30 points or more. History has proven that when LSU's D is "on", games are "won". But the O has to score. FWIW, I don't think the players will be too distracted by the ranking. They lost to the best team in the country by 10 points. It happens. I think we win out, and move on...
According to the head of the committee we were penalized not for our loss but for lack of win against a quality opponent.
