Unfortunately, I missed the 2nd half because I took my wife and son to see Bohemian Rhapsody. (That also helped take the sting off...highly recommened if you came of age in the 60's, 70's or 80's.)
I did not think it was. But I'm neither gay nor homophobic so I might not be the best person to ask. His homosexuality was a big part of his being and ultimately an integral part of his demise so I don't think it was something that could be avoided. I honestly did not know a whole lot about his life story and when I got home I wikipedia'd his bio...the movie appears to have been true to that narrative. I will say that I'd trade seeing the movie any day in exchange for being able to see Michael Thomas' Joe Horn impression as it unfolded on live TV. Lol.
It was so great. The only thing better would have been to have seats directly behind the goal posts and seen it live.
