As of today 247 is showing that Bama has 30 players have entered the portal with 26 listed as committed to another school.. i am surprised that none are coming our way. The biggest scavengers on the list are Ohio St. with 3, Texas with 3, and Fla. St with 5.

I heard/read someone state that the 85 limit doesn’t come into play until the season starts. If correct, the situation will likely self correct with defections after spring practice during the 15 day portal window (May 1-15).
