Marlin Martinez put is name in the portal. Sure hoping Turner returns. If not then that leaves us with only J Chester with playing experience. And that was a very short time in one game. He played well, but we will need a backup.

If the one "picked off" you're talking about is Reliford, that's a high school commit flipped, not a portal transfer. I don't think we have any transfers yet. And I share your concern.

Lose one, get one. Sage Ryan portals. His time at LSU is a big disappointment, IMO. Safety Jardin Gilbert transferring from A&M to LSU. 4-star prospect in the Class of '21, Gilbert is a U-High alum out of Baton Rouge, with 80 tackles and 2 ints. in his college career.
