Was encouraged by the defense saturday. But wonder if we were helped by the rain & wet field. ATM QB hit his wideouts in the hands & they dropped a lot of passes. We'll find out pretty quick if the defense is really fixed against Bama.
This is a young inexperienced team. It’s been baptism by fire. You lose that amount of talent and bring back such little experience with no offseason in a year with so much chaos (it’s December and we have played only 2 games in Tiger Stadium) this is the product you get. I’m not saying we shouldn’t have expected more from our coaching staff to have this team better prepared, they absolutely should have been. But this was the perfect storm. Championship hangover, mass exodus of NFL talent drafted, coaching turnover, no offseason, key returning players opting out all before you even play a snap. Then you hit the field. Play the air raid week 1 in a new scheme, missing our best returning defender, putting your rookie QB in a shootout was the 1st blow. Then moving a home game last minute due to yet another hurricane and losing in the fashion we did was the knock down and finally losing our starting QB for the season was the knock out.
Thats him, I remember @LSUDad telling us "Scouts were looking at him for the draft" For fucking what? That dude was awful but Les sure did love him
Don't know why you waste time here with all your imagined brain power. You should just chuck it all and start your own think tank or better yet apply for an OC job at a power five university with all that football knowdlege. Hope you choose to get an OC job I will buy everyone at TF a ticket to your first game. We will finally get to see "modern football".
