Funny story. Was in BR this weekend. My mom has to stop at Walmart to get something and I had to use the bathroom so I decided to go in at Walmart. I ended up in the ladies room. The funny thing is when I walked in there, because I was on the phone not paying attention, I was like? Hmm the urinals must be in the back. So I go in the stall. It’s disgusting as all hell. Figured must be the right restroom. I piss and go to the sink to wash my hands. Hear the toilet flush. Lady in jeans and short hair comes out. My first thought, “must be trans”. We make eye contact. She shakes head. Odd I thought. I exit and check the sign. Giggled. “Women”...... Smelled as bad, just less piss on the floor. Gross. Probably haunted me more than her. Went to the game and watched Todd throw it away. Glad the Tigers finished them off in game 3.
Make up game at Northwestern tonight. Should be a humdinger. LSU is currently in last place in the SEC West and tied with Kentucky for 3rd to last in the conference. Sure got a lot of work to do cuz conference play begins this weekend. PITCHING MATCHUP LSU – Fr. RH Landon Marceaux (1-1, 7.90 ERA, 13.2 IP, 9 BB, 11 SO) NSU – Sr. RH Cullen McDonald (1-0, 0.69 ERA, 13.0 IP, 0 BB, 7 SO)
I know you are being pessimistic and all, but how are we last place in the West without playing an SEC game yet? Minus Todd, we had much better pitching this weekend and faced some pretty good pitchers for CAL....
Simply by W/L record. I was clear that there is plenty of work to do. W/L is only a trend line and many of these teams, we will face. Not really being pessimistic at all, but more so a realization for where we stand leading into SEC play, preparing to face those teams. Team pitching continues to improve, up to 5.0 something, but against way lesser teams we will face in conference. It will be interesting to see if some sustained improvement can occur over the course of conference match ups
