Transplant Mays brain into Smart's body and you would have one great player.

Watford at point is our current best option since he's unstoppable at the rim. He's too big for his man usually. He's a head taller than Emmitt Williams but part is his jheri curl. We need kbw back to restore order.

Bigs coming next year. Consider this a rebuilding year.

Watford at point... Umm, you need to be able to handle the ball to run point.

That’s realistic, but WW doesn’t get a pass on that.

Have you missed the entire season?

A pass on what? Losing 3 recruits due to a BS suspension thanks to alleva? I'd say it's quite relevant. Our talent pales in comparison to KY regarding depth. We don't have better options just as Wade said. The fact we've been in first much of the season is amazing in itself. A correction was expected. We were never that good but we aren't this bad either. We're a 3rd place sec team which is about where we are.

Losing KBW, Naz and Waters and not replacing them is huge. Starting the season I didn't expect any better than 4th in the SEC so what's happened so far is exceeding expectations. Still it's disappointing to start losing close games that they were winning earlier in the season. If the final record is going to be the same I would rather have lost some early close ones and come on like gangbusters late.

So who is returning next year? No one so we have to keep restocking at a much better level. Martin and the hoops guy thinks we'll be ok. Wade didn't have this problem at vcu did he? His teams played crazy defense like Nolan Richardsons 40 minutes of hell so maybe we need a couple of long term Skylar mays types but better defensively. It's a delicate mix. I hate one and dones but I don't care about their nba futures.

No; Watford is a serviceable dribbler.

WW brought some of this on himself. I blame Alleva for the PR implosion, but Alleva didn’t leak the recordings.

As for being third place - I’d be thrilled to end in third but this lull has got me worried. I just want to make the tourney and at least look like we belong.

We beat some teams this year even though they got hot hitting 3's. That was pretty impressive especially when you consider we don't shoot 3's well. Everyone is talking about the Kentucky game, as others have said LSU isn't on the Kentucky level. What bothers me is the games you lose that you should have won, Vandy and Alabama games. Looking back we were lucky to beat Miss St at the buzzer. We were just good enough to win a few games to become 8-0 in league play. I hope WW can get a point guard to start for next year. This team really needs one, it would put this team on a whole different level. A dominant big man would be nice too but is that too much? Jr College route?
