Had hoped for better but Cal has his young team peaking at the right time. That team is better than its record and our short bench is catching up with us.
But still 3rd in conference cant complain too much. Beat da Gators and ill be a happy clam.

If you're talking about an individual player, we don't have one. We never have one, and by that I'm talking about that guy that can seemingly flip an internal switch and suddenly become an unstoppable scoring machine. Everybody we play seems to have two, or at least they do when they play us.

i was looking at the last few years of kentucky recruiting. its madness. we get excited when we have one big year with two 5* players. they are bringin in 4 or 5 elite 5 star guys every year. they bring in like 3 naz reids and two emmit williams every year. we just are not at their level yet.

LSU should be expected to compete, and go to the tournament every year. they should be in the top handful of teams in the league every year. and occasionally win the league. cant beat kentucky every time yet. give it time

LSU vs kentucky in basketball is like kentucky vs LSU in football. 4 star recruits looking across the field and saying how the fuck they have both stingley and emery and now gilbert and ricks. what kind of 5 star talent factory is this! thats kentucky basketball. just not at that level yet.

i'd really like for mays to play the 1 and smart the 2. is it that mays is a step slow or what? smart is just not a 1

agree. the one thing that is maddening is the lack of d.... i assume it's due to our lack of depth but i'd like to think that the bench could give more minutes but too late in the season for that

Seems like they like Mays as a scorer better than Smart. I don’t think it makes much difference which plays point.

Yes mays is 2 steps slow and smart is too stupid to manage a game consistently.
