It is the team’s responsibility to win fans. Every gain WW has made he’s had a setback. He’s fighting hard right now, but we’re backsliding. It’s more complicated than that; a win against UK would pump some life into the fan base. If Dickie V is here, a win would get even a bit more juice. #BootUp

defending league champ and battling for first place vs the leagues perennial elite/one of the great college programs in the history of the sport

if thats not enough to bring the fans, the fans suck

You may need a sports psychologist. This team has been in first all year now 1 game out.

its still only like less $20 a ticket. plus there is plenty of parking for basketball.

we as a society are too sedentary. our TV's too big, chairs too comfortable. we dont do anything. never leave the house. and thats partially because baton rouge is boring. but basketball at the pmac is not boring. you people should go.

My grandparents had season tickets going all the way back to Pistol Pete until they passed, I was a basketball fanatic back then and watching Shaq play was one of the greatest things I ever saw. I just have a hard time getting into basketball for a long time after Dale Brown left and the one and done rule became a thing. Also going to the football, baseball, and basketball games was what we enjoyed most. I don't remember watching many games on TV, but I was a kid I am sure they did. Only part of living in Houston I hate, is I can't run to a quick game whenever I want.

This team hasn’t put a great product on the floor consistently. Last year was different but got undercut by the Alleva bullshit. Before that we had a slew of crap coaches that followed Brady, who has his own issues with consistency. Like Dale Brown before him, especially at the end of his run.

Y’all can blame the fans, but without the wiretap implosion last year I think this entire season plays out different. The support will be there tonight, and if WW can get traction I think we’ll start to see healthier crowds.

Y’all can preach about how we’re near the top of a mediocre conference and ignore that our resume is light on big wins and that we’re on a slide. Ignore the fact that we’ve looked pretty mortal during our early conference run, just like those who defended Miles.

I think WW is a good coach and we got a good chance to win tonight, but I don’t mind being critical on an island in a sea of positigers who just can’t understand why baton rouge isn’t on fire for basketball.

I have watched 3 games on TV so far, we are 1/3 in those games... Was starting to feel like it was me, but I have been busy past few games, so not my fault!

You have the Astros and Rockets. That's 122 home games between them from November to the next September. Almost year round.

Yup, that's what I do. I also went to the college world series a few years ago to get my LSU baseball fix, Bregman's last year.

I will be in town next week, might look into bring my nephews to a game.

**edit nope, on the road next week.
