Doing nothing vs watching a team that either barely makes expectations or lets you down. Tough choice. And I like basketball. Basketball in BRLA has had it rough for a long while.

Baton Rouge is a football town. In most years fans will start being at least a little interested in basketball right after we lose to Alabama and all hope of winning the SEC championship and making playoffs are dashed. With as great as the football team was this season hoops interest was delayed somewhat. I had season tickets in the 90's when Shaq, Chris Jackson & Company were here. Now I try to make one or two games a season. I'm pretty satisfied watching on the big screen in Hi Def most of the time. Great view just like being courtside and I don't have to deal with parking and high prices for bad food. Same with baseball. I'll probably go to the Friday night game vs Vanderbilt and another game or two during the season. I saw on lsusports.net where tickets for tomorrow nights Kentucky game were going for from $10 to $49. $10 tickets must be in the nosebleed section but I'll pop for $49 for that one game if really good seats are still available.
Ark & Fla and of course UK next. Youre in 3rd after leading the conference for a month. That doesnt suck.
