Will Wade and the Tigers are hosting LSU legacy Shareef O'Neal for an official visit this weekend. The UCLA transfer forward, who is the son of former LSU great Shaquille O'Neal, announced his decision to transfer from the Bruins on Jan. 22. Shareef told 247Sports director of recruiting Evan Daniels that he plans to make a decision on his future soon and will finish out the quarter at UCLA, which ends on March 20. The former four-star prospect averaged 2.2 points and 2.9 rebounds per game this season. In a three-game stretch from Dec. 1-14, O’Neal played 20, 19 and 17 minutes, scoring a career-best eight points in two of the games and setting a career-high in the last game with eight points and 11 boards in those 17 minutes. from247 sports
