you dont judge performance by outcomes you imagine may have been possible, but by actual performance. wade would be riding two consecutive tourney appearances, and he just brought in the 6th ranked class. there is basically ZERO room for criticism. a top 10 class is a success. the recruiting is doing great. tons of talent is coming in.

Kinda reminds me of the Miles years, we were good, but imagine what we would have been with an offense. That said, I think WW is exponentially better than Miles and I think he’ll navigate treacherous waters with aplomb. Is Woodward helping out at all? Haven’t heard much out of him. That in itself is an improvement over Alleva.

i was talking about basketball. wade just brought the 6th ranked class. including a 5 star scoring monster SG to replace skylar mays. LSU is not a basketball school. and yet wade is bringing in elite talent. 5* is elite. emmit williams, naz reid, cam thomas, trendon watford. these are elite recruits. when wade was hired the program was complete shit. they immediately became competitive. made the NIT, then two consecutive NCAAs. he is turning them into a national contender. he already sent them to the sweet 16 in spite of being fucked hard by his own school. will wade is a genius and all your criticisms of him are dumb.
He got us to the NCAAT but couldn’t coach for us. No room for criticism, that was part of the master plan... I am one of WW’s biggest fans, and fucking Alleva and the admin totally bungled their handling of the situation, but WW isn’t blameless. I hope we keep him forever. If we get sanctions, I hope we keep him and ride them out. But I hope Woodward is good enough to keeps us out of significant sanctions. If he is forced to cut bait on WW, I’ll be more disappointed in Woodward than WW. Fate sure seems to be throwing WW a lot of curveballs. That said, I’ll continue praising/criticizing our coaches. Have we replaced Cisse yet, or have any prospects?
